Frameworks

Three frameworks for AI strategy, professional visibility, and neurodivergent leadership.

Most of the advisory work comes back to the same three models. They run underneath the keynotes, the client engagements, and XecuSion. This is where each one is set out in full.

01

The Executive Function Safety Net

The framework behind XecuSion™

Capability stopped being the bottleneck a long time ago. The people running the most complex work are rarely short on judgment, skill, or drive. They are short on the invisible administrative scaffolding that keeps all of it from falling through the gaps between meetings. A safety net is infrastructure that catches what capability alone cannot.

Capture

Nothing depends on remembering it. Commitments, context, and half-formed decisions get held somewhere other than your head.

Continuity

The thread survives the gap. What was decided in March is still available in September, in the form you'll actually need it.

Compression

The mundane shrinks. Time returns to the work only you can do, rather than the work anyone could.

This is for you if you are good at your job and still losing things in the gaps between meetings. If what breaks is administrative rather than strategic, and if you have already tried another productivity app and nothing changed.

The Invisibility Risk Framework

The framework behind professional positioning and visibility work

The real risk isn't being replaced. It's becoming invisible. Careers rarely end in a dramatic displacement event; they thin out quietly, as the people making decisions lose the evidence they'd need to keep choosing you. Invisibility is a measurable exposure, and it can be audited before it costs anything.

Evidence gap

What you have actually done, versus what a decision-maker could find and verify without asking you.

Attribution gap

Work that landed under a team name, a client's brand, or someone else's presentation.

Retrieval gap

Whether search engines and AI assistants can associate your name with your expertise at all. Increasingly that is the first place you get vetted.

This is for you if you are excellent at what you do and keep getting passed over, and if doing good work and waiting to be noticed has stopped paying out.

The Human-Centred AI Amplification Model

The framework behind organizational AI strategy

Most AI decisions are framed as a question of what the technology can do. That is the wrong question. The useful one is where human judgment is the point, where it is simply overhead, and where AI has no business at all. Plenty of models sort the first two. The third is the one that matters, and it is the one almost everybody leaves out.

Abstain

Work where the stakes, the ambiguity, or the human relationship mean AI should not be in the room. Naming these in advance is what makes the other two categories credible.

Amplify

Work where a person's discernment is the value. AI expands reach and speed; the human stays in the loop by design, not as a formality.

Automate

Work where the outcome is deterministic and the judgment has already been made. Hand it over completely and stop paying attention to it.

This is for you if you are sorting an AI roadmap, or if a rollout has stalled because nobody agreed in advance what was supposed to stay human.

Using These

How to use and cite these frameworks.

These are working models, not doctrine. Apply them in your own work without asking. If you want to republish the write-ups, or build something you sell on top of them, ask first and the answer is usually yes. And if you think one of them is wrong, that is a more interesting conversation than agreement.

Citation

How to cite these frameworks.

Use them. Teach them. Take them into your own organization. If they turn up in a deck, a paper, or a conversation, this is the line that makes the source findable.

What you are free to do. Apply the thinking in your own work, teach it to your team, adapt it to your context, quote it with attribution, and disagree with it publicly. None of that needs permission.

What needs a conversation first. Republishing the written descriptions, packaging a framework into a product or programme you sell, or using the framework names to position a competing offer.
